Plan of the Trip to New Orleans

Early June, New Orleans. Lets see what we can do Lorenza!!

I have asked my friend DK and got some interesting suggestions.

To-do list:

Swimming pool.

Crossed, no pool at the hotel and no beach!! Still bring bikinis.

Jazz bar.

Lets just walk around and follow the music.

Swamp tour and Steamboat/riverboat tour. I remembered Scarlett and Captain Butler went on a riverboat for their honeymoon, no? Need to read more. Too many choices.

Shopping

Bourbon St., Magazine St.

Lets get some cajun seasoning and spice up our northern lives.

To-eat list:

Oyster house.

Acme Oyster House (on Iberville St.) “super crowded and popular”–DK

Felix’s. “across the street from Acme and just as good; cheaper; less crowded; not as nice inside”–DK

Aligator sausage.

Daisy Dukes. They offer authentic cajun and southern food. Maybe this will be an one-stop restaurant.

Louisiana creole & cajun cuisine

Crawfish étouffée

Gumbo

Jambalaya

Cafe Du Monde. For their famous cafe au lait and beignets. Lorenza, what do you say?

Monther’s. Recommended we go at, say 3 pm.

(Maybe the Coop’s Place. I’m pretty sure I can tell a male rat from a female one)
